Harold G. Nahigian is considered by his peers as the dean of investment and financial planning in Southern California. Registered as a general securities principal and licensed life insurance agent, he specializes in personalized financial planning for individuals, families, and corporations.
For the past 56 years, his office has been on Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, where he works with a select group of affluent clients. In addition, he supervises more than 70 Registered Representatives as a Regional Director for Cetera Advisor Networks LLC.
Harold is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in general business and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Finance. He has a general secondary teaching credential and has taught accounting and other business subjects in high schools and community colleges in the Los Angeles area prior to becoming a financial planner in 1958.
Over the past quarter century, Harold has consistently been honored, both as a leading personal producer and for his outstanding management performance, by several leading national financial service companies. He contributes to the community by conducting financial planning seminars and as a guest lecturer at local colleges and the University of Southern California. The emphasis in these seminars is on showing people how they can improve their financial position through wealth accumulation and reduction of income taxes. The seminars also cover estate planning as an aid in the retention and orderly distribution of wealth.
Harold has been interviewed several times on Los Angeles radio station KNX and nationally on CNN, CNN-FN, and CNN Headline News. He has made presentations to local service clubs, including the Optimists, Kiwanis, and Rotary. Because of his knowledge and understanding of financial markets and investments, Harold has been a frequent speaker at the management and executive clubs of a number of Fortune`s top 500 companies, and has taken an active part in pre-retirement seminars for their employees.
He is an active member of his church, a member of the International Association for Financial Planning, and a life member of the University of Southern California Alumni Association. For the past 40 years, Harold has been selected each year as a member of the Golden Scale Council, and currently serves on the National Board of Governors. This is a sales management award presented in recognition of the highest standard of professional sales management.
